On the 8th of December in Donetsk there will be organized a training for the interested citizens and youth devoted to the theme “Perspectives of volunteering through the Internet”.
Donetsk Volunteer Agency invited UNV Programme Officer Giovanni Mozzarelli to show opportunities which gives the Internet to the volunteers, offer the cooperation with the UNV program that will help young people to gain new experinece and find goof job after their graduation.
Web-source On-line Volunteering provides effective collaboration of public organizations and volunteers through the Internet. Volunteers give their time and knowledge to the organizations in order to solve the existing social problems.
In frames of the service on-line volunteering UNV gives:
• Universal platform for NGOs to find on-line volunteers;
• Easy access to volunteer placements;
• Effective and efficient tools to manage placements and volunteers data base;
• Supervision on quality of cooperation NGOs and volunteers;
• The useful tips how to use the Internet data base;
• Perspectives to widen the contacts for organizations and volunteers;
• Advantages of this program for young people when looking at their future.
