One of the main directions of EURC «Social partnership” is work with youth, promotion of volunteer projects and youth exchanges. From the 15th May till the 22nd May in cooperation with Turkish youth organization CLUB Mayis there was organized a youth exchange in Turkey.
The Ukrainian group was really fascinated by the project “Culture? Sport?”, which took place in Manisa, a small town not far from Izmir.
Kristina Bakhtina, one of the youth exchange participants writes: “We were amazed by the hospitality of Turkish people, their generosity. Firstly, this project gave us an opportunity to meet people from different countries, to feel ourselves the part of a great team – European team. Secondly, we had a great chance to feel the real Turkish culture, culture which is somewhere deeply inside the country. We participated in Turkish sport events, we appeared on the pages of Turkish newspapers – it was really unforgettable!!!!!!!!! To sum up, this was a project of a life-time!!!!”
