On the 12 and 20 of April in Donetsk and Gorlovka there were held master classes in Monotype for social workers, volunteers and employees of governmental institutions that work with children and youth with disabilities.
Stepanova Tatiana conducted the workshops. She is an expert in making crafts of clay, paper, drawing and embroidery. Tatiana was pleased to share her rich experience with the audience.
Stepanova Tatyana told that Monotype technique was born in England and is now very popular among social workers working children who have physical and mental disabilities because it doesn’t require special skills.
At the beginning of the master classes the participants were a little worried whether they could in such a short period of time master painting technique. But gradually they relaxed and believed in their ability to paint. In the paintings you could see unique images and pictures; faces of people, rivers bearing their swift water, birds and animals, the mountain peaks and volcanoes.
At the end of the master class members called themselves artists “with a capital letter”. This master class proved again that Monotype technique is unique because it requires minimum efforts and materials and gives extraordinary, interesting results.
