Soon, in February, a volunteer from Holland will come to Donetsk in frames of the EU Program “Youth in Action”.
Steve Kiers is from a small town Den Helder, Holland. Steve is interested in arts and cultural difference. His hobby is skateboarding. He has his own collection of skateboards painted by him. In his native town Steve worked in call center of the local insurance company. But here he will do other activities. Steve will work in Donetsk Volunteer Agency and in Donetsk social organization for handicapped children and young invalids “Raduga”. He will organize leisure for handicapped children, young invalids, plan and organize development and entertaining events for them.
Also Steve will help with design and realization of some social projects, write blog about his life in Ukraine, maintain contacts with foreign hosting organization and help Ukrainian volunteers search interesting EVS projects.
Hosting organization EURC “Social partnership” will provide Steve with accommodation, meals and pocket money. Steve will also have Russian lessons twice a week.
