On the last day of November young people, students of the local educational institutions gathered together to make acquaintance with the biggest charitable fund of the city “Dobrota”.
This organization is well known by its charitable projects, development of the philanthropy and help to various vulnerable categories of population. The nearest plans of the Fund are realization of the project “Actors to the bed of a sick child”. This project is aimed at provision of psychological and financial help to the sick children who have to stay in the hospitals for a long time.
Young people who attended this meeting proved themselves as attentive to the misfortune of other people. They wanted to help in fundraising; print out letters for sponsors, make telephone calls and meet with potential donor organizations and persons. With the support of the Charitable Fund “Dobrota” some volunteers decided to organize charitable concerts for children in the hospitals before the New Year Holidays.
Volunteers marked that work in the respectable Fund under the supervision of the experienced workers will be perfect school for them to socialize with people, learn the secrets of fundraising and organization of large-scaled events.
